On 3rd February 2025, TCDS conducted a bag stitching training program in Namakkal to promote self-employment among marginalized women. A total of 40 women participated in the session, with 5 completing advanced training to begin small-scale production. The initiative focused on enhancing livelihood opportunities, boosting income, and fostering independence. It also helped build self-confidence and practical skills among participants. TCDS continues to support women through targeted skill development programs.
